Jack and the Dinosaur
Jack frowned.
He didn't want to sell his dinosaur,
but because he needed money, he had to lead it off to market.
He didn't want to sell his dinosaur, but because he needed money, he had to lead it off to market.
On the way to the market there was an old man walking by.
"Is this dinosaur for sale?" asked the old man.
"Well yes," mumbled Jack.
"How much is it worth?" questioned the old man.
"One hundred dollars," said Jack.
"But I only have three magic beans," moaned the old man.
"How do they work? " asked Jack.
"Well like this, You have to grow them under the soil. In the morning you will see a mammoth stalk which will lead you to a castle. You will find a golden table laden with delicious cheesecakes, juicy chicken and a golden goose."
Eagerly Jack rushed home with his magic beans. (Unfortunately the old man had forgotten to tell Jack the bad news, which was that there was a giant guarding the castle) .
That night Jack tip-toed outside wearing only his funky shorts. Impatiently he climbed up the beanstalk.
" We won't be starving anymore," he said calmly.
When he had climbed to the top, he rushed to the castle but when he opened the door he found a repulsive giant snoring very loudly in his colossal rocking chair.
Picking up a near-by rope, Jack tied the giant to the chair, crammed all the food into his mouth and grabbed the golden goose.
As soon as he got back he spat out all the food and set a fine breakfast. Every morning he had fine breakfasts.
One month later Dino the dinosaur escaped from the old man and came back home..
